Job Description:
A leading offshore contractor is seeking an experienced Steward to join a DP2 Construction Vessel operating in UK waters.
The successful candidate will provide professional catering support, housekeeping services, and onboard hospitality while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and crew welfare. The role requires an individual with offshore vessel experience, valid maritime documentation, and the legal right to work in the UK.
The position is offered on a fixed offshore rotation onboard a modern DP2 construction vessel.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accommodation and communal areas.
Support catering operations, meal service, and galley activities.
Assist with food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Manage housekeeping duties and maintain onboard facilities.
Follow company HSE procedures and offshore safety requirements.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid UK working rights required
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book
Previous experience as Steward onboard offshore vessels preferred
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural offshore environment
