Job Description:
Atlas NextWave is currently recruiting 3 experienced Stewards to join a Cable Layer Vessel for an upcoming offshore project in the USA.
Joining is scheduled for 27 July 2026 on a 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off rotation. The successful candidates will support the catering and housekeeping department, ensuring clean, safe, and comfortable living conditions for the crew while maintaining high hospitality standards onboard. Previous offshore or cable layer vessel experience is considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain cleanliness of accommodation, mess rooms, and public areas.
Assist with meal service and galley support when required.
Perform housekeeping, laundry, and cabin maintenance duties.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Support the catering team in daily onboard operations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical Fitness Certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid U.S. Visa (mandatory)
Valid offshore certificates and documentation
Previous offshore or Cable Layer Vessel experience is considered an advantage
Two recent performance appraisals
Employment Details:
Contract Duration: 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off rotation
