Foscon Shipmanagement Inc. is recruiting a Messman to join an Oil/Chemical Tanker operating in the Far East. The Messman will assist with food service, mess room duties, cleaning, and general catering support to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for the crew.
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with serving meals and maintaining the mess room.
Clean and maintain accommodation and assigned areas.
Assist the galley and catering department as required.
Handle tableware and catering equipment properly.
Follow onboard hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Relevant experience as Messman or in a similar catering position is preferred.
Good knowledge of onboard hygiene and sanitation practices.
Valid seafarer's documents required for the position.
Contract Duration: To be confirmed by the employer.
Salary: Competitive, based on experience.
