Job Description
Atlas Next Wave is urgently recruiting an experienced Galley Steward to join a Jack-Up Vessel operating in UK Waters.
The successful candidate will support the catering department by maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the galley, assisting with food service, and ensuring compliance with offshore catering and food safety standards.
This is an immediate opportunity for candidates with valid UK Right to Work who are available to mobilize at short notice.
Position Available
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the galley, pantry, and mess areas.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Assist cooks with food preparation and serving when required.
- Store food supplies and galley equipment properly.
- Dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and offshore HSE standards.
- Support catering operations during daily meal services.
- Work effectively within a multinational offshore team.
Requirements
General Requirements
- Previous experience as a Galley Steward or in a similar offshore catering role.
- Valid UK Right to Work is mandatory.
- Valid offshore certificates and supporting documents.
- Valid Medical Certificate.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong teamwork skills and safety awareness.
- Physically and medically fit for offshore work.
- Available for immediate joining (no later than 12 August).
