Job Description:

A cruise ship operator is seeking an Assistant Pantry Garde Manger to support cold kitchen and pantry operations. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, presentation, storage, and hygiene while maintaining consistent culinary standards.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the preparation of salads, cold dishes, appetizers, and garnishes.
• Supporting food presentation and portion control.
• Maintaining proper food storage and stock rotation.
• Keeping pantry workstations clean and organized.
• Following food safety procedures and galley hygiene standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant culinary experience.
• Previous cruise or passenger vessel experience preferred.
• Appropriate culinary and food safety qualifications, where required.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate, as applicable.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced galley environment.
