Job Description

Inspired Crew is seeking an experienced Laundry Master to join an established dual-season programme aboard a 70m+ private/charter motor yacht.

The successful candidate will have proven professional yacht laundry experience and be confident managing the laundry operation independently while maintaining consistently high standards of garment care, presentation, and organisation.

This is a hands-on position requiring excellent knowledge of fine fabrics, delicate garments, stain treatment, and professional laundry equipment. The role also includes responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of designated crew areas.

We are looking for a reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented professional who can work efficiently during busy guest and charter periods while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily laundry operation and organise the workflow efficiently.
• Wash, dry, iron, steam, and finish garments according to fabric type and care requirements.
• Handle delicate, luxury, and speciality fabrics using appropriate cleaning methods.
• Identify stains and apply suitable stain-treatment techniques.
• Operate and maintain professional laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, irons, steamers, and roller irons.
• Ensure garments and linens are returned in excellent condition and presented to a high standard.
• Organise laundry supplies and report stock or equipment requirements.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and well-organised laundry room.
• Take responsibility for the cleanliness and organisation of designated crew areas.
• Coordinate with the interior team to support smooth daily operations.
• Follow onboard hygiene, safety, and garment-care procedures.

Requirements

• Proven professional yacht laundry experience – essential.
• Excellent knowledge of fine, delicate, luxury, and speciality fabric care.
• Confident in stain identification and treatment.
• Practical experience operating professional laundry equipment.
• Strong ironing, steaming, and roller iron skills.
• Highly organised, efficient, and capable of working independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and garment presentation.
• Ability to maintain high standards during busy guest and charter periods.
• Positive, professional, proactive, and team-focused attitude.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with the wider interior team.
• Valid B1/B2 visa – essential.
• Valid STCW certificates – required.
• Valid ENG1 medical certificate – required.
• Valid and relevant yachting documentation.
• Male candidates only due to cabin arrangements.
• Availability to start at New Year 2027.
