Job Description:
A global cruise operator is currently recruiting a Housekeeping Manager to join its shipboard team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest satisfaction throughout the vessel.
The successful candidate will manage housekeeping teams, coordinate cabin and public area cleaning schedules, and maintain quality control across all housekeeping services. This position is ideal for candidates with previous cruise experience or strong backgrounds in luxury hotels, resorts, or large-scale hospitality operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Supervising housekeeping staff and daily cleaning operations onboard
• Ensuring high standards of cleanliness in cabins and public areas
• Managing housekeeping schedules, supplies, and inventory
• Training and supporting housekeeping team members
• Maintaining compliance with hygiene, safety, and company standards
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Previous shipboard experience preferred (required for this role)
• Experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or large-scale housekeeping operations
• Valid passport and travel documents
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
