Job Description:
A global cruise operator is currently seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to join its shipboard team. This role is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations onboard, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction across cabins and public areas.
The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, multicultural cruise environment, managing large housekeeping teams and delivering luxury-level service standards. Candidates with cruise experience are highly preferred, though professionals from high-end hotels and resorts are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Managing and supervising the entire housekeeping department onboard
• Ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of guest cabins and public areas
• Leading, training, and evaluating housekeeping staff
• Maintaining inventory and controlling housekeeping supplies
• Ensuring compliance with hygiene, safety, and company standards
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Previous cruise ship experience preferred (mandatory for senior roles)
• Experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or large-scale housekeeping operations
• Valid passport and travel documents
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
