Job Description

Vinarco is recruiting experienced Thai catering professionals to support offshore jack-up rig operations in Songkhla, Thailand.

We are seeking qualified and motivated catering personnel for various positions within the offshore hospitality and catering department. Candidates should have relevant offshore catering experience and be capable of maintaining high standards of food preparation, accommodation services, cleanliness and hygiene in an offshore working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Camp Boss

• Supervise and coordinate catering and housekeeping operations.
• Manage catering personnel and distribute daily duties.
• Monitor food provisions, inventory and catering supplies.
• Ensure compliance with offshore hygiene and safety standards.

Chief Cook

• Plan menus and prepare meals for offshore personnel.
• Supervise kitchen staff and manage galley operations.
• Maintain food quality, hygiene and safe food storage.
• Monitor provisions and kitchen supplies.

Assistant Cook

• Assist the Chief Cook with daily meal preparation.
• Support food storage and kitchen organization.
• Maintain galley cleanliness and sanitation.
• Follow food safety procedures.

Night Cook / Baker

• Prepare meals and refreshments for night-shift personnel.
• Bake bread, pastries and other bakery products as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Ensure proper food handling and storage.

Laundry Man

• Manage daily laundry operations.
• Wash, dry, iron and distribute crew clothing and linen.
• Maintain laundry equipment and supplies.
• Follow hygiene and safety procedures.

Steward / Galley Boy / Room Boy

• Assist with meal service and messroom duties.
• Maintain cleanliness in accommodation and common areas.
• Support galley staff with basic catering tasks.
• Clean and maintain assigned areas and equipment.

Requirements

• Thai candidates are invited to apply.
• Relevant experience in the applied catering or hospitality position.
• Previous offshore catering experience is preferred.
• Previous experience on jack-up drilling rigs or offshore installations is an advantage.
• Relevant professional qualifications or catering certificates, where applicable.
• Valid offshore safety training and medical fitness certification, as required for the assignment.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, sanitation and safe food-handling practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural offshore environment.
• Commitment to onboard safety, cleanliness and hygiene standards.
