Job Description

We are recruiting a full catering crew for a Drillship under a long-term Swiss contract.

The vacancies are available across the catering and housekeeping departments, including Assistant Cook, Leading Steward, Laundryman, Baker and Cleaning Steward positions.

The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality catering, housekeeping and laundry services onboard while maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, cleanliness, food safety and crew welfare.

Open Positions & Salary

• Assistant Cook – €2,400 On Duty / €1,200 Off Duty
• Leading Steward – €2,500 On Duty / €1,200 Off Duty
• Laundryman – €2,100 On Duty / €950 Off Duty
• Baker – €2,650 On Duty / €1,500 Off Duty
• Cleaning Steward – €1,900 On Duty / €900 Off Duty

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:

• Perform all catering, housekeeping and laundry duties according to the onboard job description.
• Prepare and serve meals for offshore personnel.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness.
• Assist with food preparation, bakery production and galley operations as applicable.
• Maintain accommodation and public areas in excellent condition.
• Carry out laundry, linen and housekeeping duties.
• Maintain catering stores, provisions and equipment.
• Follow onboard safety, hygiene and environmental procedures.
• Participate in safety meetings, drills and emergency procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a professional multinational drill-ship crew.

Requirements

• Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.
• Valid BOSIET Training.
• Valid STCW Certificates.
• Valid OGUK Medical Certificate.
• Valid First Aid + AED Training.
• Relevant experience in the applied catering / housekeeping position.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work in an offshore and multinational environment.
• Strong awareness of hygiene, safety and food-service standards.
• Ability to work a 28 days on / 28 days off rotation.

Position-Specific Requirements

Assistant Cook

• Previous offshore, maritime or professional kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to assist with food preparation and galley operations.

Leading Steward

• Previous stewarding or offshore hospitality experience.
• Experience supervising or coordinating catering/hotel-service duties preferred.

Laundryman

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience.
• Knowledge of industrial laundry equipment and linen handling preferred.

Baker

• Professional baking experience.
• Ability to prepare breads, pastries and bakery products to a consistent standard.

Cleaning Steward

• Previous housekeeping, cleaning or offshore accommodation experience preferred.
• Strong attention to hygiene and cleanliness.

Employment Details

Contract: Long-term Swiss contract
Initial Contract: 6 months, renewable
Rotation: 28 days on / 28 days off
