Job Description

We are seeking qualified and experienced catering professionals to join the catering team aboard a Heavy Lift Crane Vessel. Successful candidates will support the daily catering and hospitality operations onboard, ensuring high standards of food preparation, accommodation services, cleanliness, and crew welfare.

Applicants should be reliable, well organised, and able to work effectively in an offshore environment while maintaining professional standards of service, hygiene, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Camp Boss: Supervising catering and accommodation services, coordinating the catering team, monitoring provisions, and maintaining hygiene and service standards.
• Steward: Maintaining accommodation and common areas, assisting with meal service, and ensuring cleanliness and comfort onboard.
• Cook: Preparing nutritious and varied meals for the crew, planning menus, managing food storage, and maintaining galley hygiene.
• Assistant Cook: Supporting food preparation, assisting with meal service, maintaining galley cleanliness, and helping with stock rotation and storage.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in the applied catering or hospitality position.
• Previous offshore, marine, or vessel experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, sanitation, and safe food handling practices, where applicable.
• Good teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural offshore environment.
• Valid medical fitness certificate and relevant offshore or maritime certificates, as required for the position.
• Professional attitude, reliability, and commitment to onboard safety standards.
