Job Description
McNeill Marine is currently recruiting an experienced Ships Cook for an immediate offshore assignment onboard a UK-flagged DP2 Platform Supply Vessel (PSV).
This is a short-term offshore opportunity on a 5-week rotation.
Open Position:
- Ships Cook — £212/day (UK PAYE)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals for the vessel's crew.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
- Manage food preparation, storage, and galley supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the galley and catering areas.
- Comply with vessel HSE procedures and offshore catering standards.
Requirements
- Valid Ships Cook CoC.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 or higher.
- Valid STCW Basic Safety Training.
- Valid Designated Security Duties (DSD) certificate.
- Valid ENG1 Medical Certificate.
- UK or EU nationality with suitable Right to Work.
- Previous offshore catering experience is preferred.
- Good English communication skills.
