Job Description

Vinarco is seeking an experienced Night Cook / Baker to support catering operations onboard an offshore jack-up drilling rig in Songkhla, Thailand.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals, refreshments and bakery products for offshore personnel, particularly those working night shifts. The role requires good cooking and baking skills, attention to food hygiene and the ability to work independently during assigned hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and refreshments for night-shift personnel.
• Bake bread, pastries, cakes and other bakery products.
• Prepare food according to daily menus and crew requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the galley and baking areas.
• Monitor food supplies and report stock requirements.
• Ensure proper food storage and safe handling.
• Maintain kitchen and baking equipment in good working condition.
• Follow food safety and offshore HSE procedures.

Requirements

• Thai nationality – candidates from Thailand are invited to apply.
• Previous experience as a Night Cook, Baker or in a similar catering position.
• Relevant offshore catering experience is preferred.
• Previous experience on jack-up drilling rigs or offshore installations is an advantage.
• Practical cooking and baking skills.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, sanitation and safe food storage.
• Relevant catering, cooking or bakery qualifications, where applicable.
• Ability to work independently and manage night-shift catering duties.
• Valid offshore safety training and medical fitness certification, as required by the employer.
• Good command of English is an advantage.
