Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Cook / Able Seaman (AB) to join a Water Injection Dredger operating in Singapore. This is an excellent short-term offshore opportunity for candidates who hold both Cook and AB Certificates of Competency (CoCs). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality catering services while also supporting deck operations as required, ensuring safe and efficient vessel performance.
The assignment is scheduled to commence on 20 July 2026 with an approximate duration of 5 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the vessel's crew while maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety.
Assist with deck operations and general seamanship duties when required.
Maintain cleanliness of the galley, food storage areas, and accommodation spaces.
Participate in emergency drills and comply with company HSE policies and maritime regulations.
Support safe and efficient vessel operations while performing dual-role responsibilities.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) as Cook.
Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) as Able Seaman (AB).
Previous experience in a similar dual-role position is preferred.
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.
