Cook for Pipelay Vessel

Job Description

An offshore operator is urgently seeking an experienced Cook to join a Pipelay Vessel on an offshore project.

The position is available for ASAP mobilisation, with an expected contract duration of approximately 4–6 weeks. The successful candidate will support the onboard catering team with food preparation, galley operations, hygiene, and general catering duties while maintaining the required offshore and maritime safety standards.

Candidates must hold valid HUET with CA-EBS, STCW certification, Ships Cook certification, and Food Hygiene/Safety certification.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist the Ship's Cook with food preparation and daily meal service.
• Maintain high standards of galley cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and handling food provisions.
• Support routine galley cleaning, equipment care, and stock control.
• Follow vessel catering procedures and offshore HSE requirements.

Requirements

• HUET with CA-EBS – Required
• Valid STCW certificates
• Ships Cook Certificate – Required
• Food Hygiene / Food Safety Certificate – Required
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Previous maritime or offshore catering experience is advantageous
• Ability to mobilise ASAP
