Job Description:
We are recruiting an experienced Cook to join a Self-Propelled Jack-Up Vessel operating in UK waters. The position is temporary, with joining in the UK on 26 August 2026 for an initial 4–8 week contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals for the crew, maintaining high standards of food hygiene, and supporting the onboard catering operation. An own cabin and a strong day rate are offered, with potential for ongoing work.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Prepare nutritious and varied meals for the vessel's crew.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and galley safety.
Manage food preparation, storage, and stock levels.
Maintain the galley and catering equipment in clean and safe condition.
Follow company catering procedures and offshore safety requirements.
Requirements:
Right to work in the UK.
Full GWO certification; the client may offer successful candidates the opportunity to complete the GWO course.
Valid Basic STCW certificates.
Valid ENG1 Medical.
Previous offshore or vessel Cook experience is preferred.
Good English communication skills.
