Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Cook to join a DP2 Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) operating in UK offshore waters. The vessel will be working outside the 12-nautical-mile zone, with joining scheduled for 13 July. This is a 5-week offshore assignment for a qualified maritime cook responsible for preparing nutritious meals, maintaining galley hygiene, and ensuring high catering standards for the crew.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Prepare and serve daily meals for the vessel's crew.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the galley and food storage areas.
Manage food inventory and ensure adequate provisioning onboard.
Follow food safety regulations and company catering procedures.
Support overall crew welfare by maintaining high catering standards.
Requirements:
Valid Cook Certificate of Competency (CoC).
Valid STCW certificates.
Medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Valid Passport.
Valid Seaman's Book.
Previous experience as a Cook on offshore vessels is preferred.
