Job Description

BSM is looking for an experienced Cook to prepare meals for offshore personnel while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen safety. The successful candidate should be able to work efficiently in an offshore catering environment.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the galley and food preparation areas.
• Monitor food stocks and assist with provisions management.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures.
• Minimize food waste and ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements

• Previous offshore experience is mandatory.
• Relevant professional cooking experience.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, safe food handling, and galley sanitation.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a catering team.
• Valid STCW certificates, medical certificate, and other required seafarer documents, where applicable.
• A valid Schengen visa is an advantage.
