Job Description

Nimbus Marine Group is looking for a Cook for an upcoming assignment onboard an Offshore Construction Vessel operating in Sabah, Malaysia.

The Cook will be responsible for preparing meals for crew members, maintaining galley hygiene, and ensuring safe food handling practices throughout the assignment.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Prepare meals for crew members according to the onboard schedule.
• Plan menus and manage food preparation in line with available provisions.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the galley and food-storage areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and safe food-handling procedures.
• Monitor food supplies and report provisioning requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Cook, preferably onboard vessels or in offshore catering.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safe food-handling practices.
• Relevant food safety or catering certificates, where applicable.
• Valid medical fitness certificate and required seafarer’s documents.
• Valid passport.
• Good English communication skills.
• Availability for the November 2026 – January 2027 assignment.
• Sabahan crew candidates are sought for this opportunity.
