Job Description:
Atlas Nexwave is currently recruiting an experienced Cook / Ship's Cook to join an MPSV (Multi-Purpose Supply Vessel) operating in France.
The position is scheduled to start on 07 October 2026 and follows a 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off rotation. The successful candidate must hold a valid Ship's Cook Certificate of Competency and the required offshore and GWO certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Prepare and serve meals for the vessel's crew in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Plan and prepare varied meals suitable for an offshore working environment.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the galley and food preparation areas.
Monitor food supplies and assist with stock control and ordering.
Comply with onboard safety procedures and participate in emergency drills when required.
Requirements:
Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) – Ship's Cook.
European residence.
Valid BOSIET.
Valid GWO Sea Survival.
Valid GWO Working at Heights.
Valid OGUK Medical.
Valid Chester Step Test.
Relevant experience as a Cook / Ship's Cook onboard offshore or maritime vessels.
Good English communication skills.
Good physical fitness and safety awareness.
