Job Description:

DMC Offshore is seeking an experienced Cook for an upcoming Jack-Up Drilling Rig project in Croatia.

The successful candidate will prepare and serve meals for offshore personnel, maintain high standards of food hygiene, and manage galley provisions and food storage.

Croatian candidates are particularly encouraged to apply. Other EU candidates are welcome if they hold or are eligible to obtain a valid A1 certificate.

The assignment is expected to last 60–90 days, with mobilisation as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and serve meals for offshore personnel.
• Plan menus and accommodate dietary requirements where practicable.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the galley and food-preparation areas.
• Manage provisions, food storage, and stock rotation.
• Maintain catering equipment and comply with food-safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as a Cook in offshore, marine, industrial, or catering environments.
• Relevant culinary qualifications, where applicable.
• Valid food hygiene and food-handling documentation.
• Valid offshore safety training and medical certification, as required by the project.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, safe storage, and galley hygiene.
• Croatian candidates particularly encouraged to apply.
• Other EU candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid A1 certificate.
• Availability for immediate mobilisation and the full 60–90-day assignment.
