Job Description:

PASAT is seeking an experienced Cook to join a dredging vessel. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals for the crew, maintaining high standards of galley cleanliness and food hygiene, and assisting with the management of food supplies and storage onboard.

The candidate must be able to organize daily meal preparation, maintain safe food-handling practices, and work efficiently in a multicultural marine environment. Previous experience as a ship's cook or in a similar offshore or marine catering position is considered an advantage.

Project details, working schedule, contract duration, salary, and joining date are to be confirmed by the employer.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Prepare daily meals for the vessel's crew in accordance with onboard catering requirements.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the galley, kitchen equipment, and food preparation areas.

• Ensure proper food storage, handling, and stock rotation.

• Monitor food supplies and assist with catering inventory and provisioning.

• Follow onboard food safety procedures and applicable hygiene regulations.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as a Cook, preferably on a vessel or in an offshore catering environment.

• Valid STCW certificates, as applicable to the position.

• Valid seafarer’s medical fitness certificate.

• Valid passport, seaman’s book, and required travel documents.

• Relevant culinary qualifications or food hygiene certificates, where applicable.

• Previous experience as a ship's cook or on dredging vessels is an advantage.

• Proficiency in English communication and the ability to work in a multicultural crew.
