Location: Brazil / Offshore
Select Offshore is seeking an experienced Cook to join a Dredger operating offshore Brazil. The position offers 5-week rotations, with the first joining date on 11th February. The successful candidate must have previous dredging experience and be prepared to work in a busy offshore environment providing catering services to the crew.
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Prepare and serve meals for the vessel’s crew during rotation
• Manage the galley operations, including cooking, cleaning, and food storage
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and offshore regulations
• Maintain inventory and track supplies, ordering as needed
• Support the overall catering and crew welfare on board
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen and galley areas
• Previous dredging experience is mandatory
• Valid Cook Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Seaman’s Book and Medical Fitness Certificate
• BOSIET / FOET / HUET
• Experience working in offshore environments or on dredgers preferred
• Good English communication skills
• Strong hygiene practices and safe food handling knowledge
