Job Description:
Moreta Shipping Lines Inc. is hiring a qualified Cook to join its Container Fleet operating on domestic trade routes. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals for the crew and maintaining proper food hygiene and cleanliness onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Prepare daily meals for officers and crew.
Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to onboard requirements.
Manage food provisions and galley supplies efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the galley and food storage areas.
Follow onboard food safety and sanitation procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Cook preferred
Experience on Container Vessels preferred
Domestic vessel experience is an advantage
Valid Cook certification as applicable
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good communication skills
