Job Description
An experienced Cook is required to join a Construction Vessel operating in UK waters.
The position is scheduled to commence on 14 September 2026 for an initial 4-week contract. The successful candidate must have the legal right to work in the UK and hold all required maritime, catering, safety, and medical certification.
Candidates must hold a valid Cook's Certificate of Competency (CoC), Level 2 Food Hygiene, STCW, GWO Sea Survival, and a valid medical certificate.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and serve meals for vessel crew in accordance with onboard catering requirements.
- Plan and prepare varied meals while maintaining appropriate nutritional and dietary standards.
- Maintain high standards of galley hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
- Manage food provisions, storage, stock rotation, and galley supplies.
- Follow all vessel catering procedures and offshore HSE requirements.
Requirements
- Valid Cook Certificate of Competency (CoC) – Required
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate – Required
- Valid STCW certificates
- GWO Sea Survival – Required
- Valid medical fitness certificate
- UK Working Rights – Required
- Valid passport and relevant seafarer documentation
- Good English communication skills
- Previous offshore / vessel cooking experience is advantageous
