Job Description:
Fair Shipping Corporation is currently seeking an experienced Cook to join its fleet of Bulk Carrier vessels, including Handy, Panamax, and Capesize ships. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals for the crew while maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety, and galley operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Prepare and serve daily meals for the vessel's crew.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the galley, pantry, and food storage areas.
Manage food inventory, storage, and stock rotation.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Assist with provision loading and menu planning.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Previous experience as Cook on Bulk Carrier vessels preferred
Knowledge of international crew catering and food safety procedures
