Job Description

Benteng Marine Services is seeking an experienced Cook to join a Bulk Carrier vessel operating worldwide.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals for the crew, maintaining galley hygiene, managing food supplies, and ensuring compliance with onboard food safety standards.

Position Available

• Cook – USD 2,262/month

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily meals for officers and crew
• Plan menus and manage food provisions
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the galley
• Monitor food storage and ensure proper handling
• Control food stocks and report replenishment requirements
• Follow onboard food safety and sanitation procedures

Requirements

• Valid Panama Seaman's Book – mandatory
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as Cook onboard Bulk Carrier vessels
• All documents must remain valid for more than one year
• Previous experience working with multinational crews
• Availability to join immediately
• Relevant catering and seafarer documentation
• Good English communication skills
• Knowledge of galley hygiene and food safety standards
