Job Description:
Our client is urgently seeking an experienced Cook to join a Bulk Carrier Vessel operating on a tramping trade. The Cook will be responsible for preparing meals for the crew and maintaining high standards of food hygiene and galley cleanliness onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing daily meals for the vessel's crew.
- Planning and preparing meals according to onboard requirements.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the galley.
- Managing food supplies and assisting with galley stores.
- Following onboard food safety and hygiene procedures.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience as a Cook on merchant vessels.
- Breakbulk vessel experience is advantageous.
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Good knowledge of galley hygiene and food safety.
