Job Description:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Assistant Cook to join a Drillship under a long-term Swiss employment contract. The successful candidate will assist the galley team in preparing meals, maintaining food hygiene standards, and ensuring high-quality catering services for the offshore crew.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist with food preparation and meal service.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the galley and food storage areas.
Support stock control and food inventory management.
Follow food safety and HSE procedures.
Assist the Chief Cook with daily galley operations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid BOSIET certificate.
Valid OGUK Medical Certificate.
Valid First Aid + AED Training.
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.
Previous offshore or maritime catering experience is preferred.
Proficiency in English communication.
