Assistant Cook for Dredger Vessel

Job Description:

Augustea Ship Manning Philippines Inc. is seeking an Assistant Cook to join a Dredger vessel. The successful candidate will assist the Cook with daily meal preparation, galley cleaning, food preparation, provision handling, and general catering duties onboard.

The position requires a reliable crew member who can maintain good hygiene standards and work efficiently as part of the vessel's catering team.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist the Cook with preparation of meals for the crew.
• Prepare ingredients and maintain food preparation areas.
• Clean and maintain galley equipment and working areas.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food provisions.
• Follow onboard food hygiene and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Previous experience as an Assistant Cook or similar catering position is preferred.
• Previous vessel or offshore catering experience is an advantage.
