Carnival Cruise Line is looking for dedicated individuals to join our culinary team as an Assistant Cook aboard one of our fantastic vessels. This is an incredible opportunity to work within one of the largest culinary teams at sea. As an Assistant Cook, you will be learning the ropes of the galley operation and supporting the team in food preparation across a range of culinary areas. You will be a real foodie with an eye for detail, enjoying being part of a large, diverse, and busy team where no two days are the same. Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Food preparation across a range of culinary areas
• Following recipes and supporting Culinary leadership
• Ensuring specifications are followed to ensure quality and consistency
• Ensuring high levels of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained, in keeping with Company and USPH standards
• Supporting logistics, preparation, and other culinary tasks
• Learning to maintain the quality and presentation of all food served and the expedition thereof
• Assisting the cooks in production and servicing the lines
• Ensuring garbage separation standards are being followed
• Performing all other tasks assigned by senior management

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate (Seafarers medical)
• Proficiency in English communication (conversational)
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role
• Guest facing experience (minimum guest interaction might be required)
• Physically fit
• "Can-do" attitude
