WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an experienced 2nd Cook to join a dredger vessel operating in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will support the Chief Cook in preparing and serving meals for crew onboard while maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety.

This is a rotational position offering the opportunity to work onboard a specialized dredging vessel within a professional maritime environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chief Cook in daily meal preparation
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals for crew members
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the galley
• Ensure compliance with food safety and maritime hygiene standards
• Assist with stock control and food inventory management
• Support galley operations during busy service periods

Requirements:

• Valid Certificate of Competency (as applicable to rank)
• Valid STCW certification
• Valid passport
• Valid Seaman’s Book
• Valid seafarer medical certificate
• Previous experience as 2nd Cook onboard vessels preferred
• Ability to work in a multicultural maritime environment
