Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced 2nd Cook to join a SCOV DP2 vessel operating in the North Sea. The contract duration is 8 weeks with an expected joining date of 10th May. The role involves assisting in galley operations onboard an offshore vessel and supporting food preparation and catering services for crew members under offshore working conditions. Wages are negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting in preparation and cooking of meals onboard
• Supporting Chief Cook in daily galley operations
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the galley area
• Assisting with provisioning and stock management
• Following offshore food safety and hygiene standards

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Only EU Nationals holding valid UK Work Permit or Ukrainian nationals under UK protection status
• Minimum 12 months of experience as 2nd Cook on similar vessel types (SCOV / DP2)
• Relevant cook qualification / Ship’s Cook License (if applicable)
