Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced 2nd Cook to join a DP2 Subsea Construction Offshore Vessel (SCOV) operating in the North Sea.
The contract duration is 8 weeks with a planned joining date on 10th May. The successful candidate will assist in meal preparation and galley operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and crew catering onboard. Previous experience on similar offshore vessel types is required.
Only EU nationals holding a valid UK work permit or Ukrainian candidates under UK protection status will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting the Chief Cook in preparation and cooking of meals for crew
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the galley
• Handling food storage and stock rotation in compliance with regulations
• Supporting menu preparation and daily catering operations
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures in the galley
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• EU Nationals with valid UK work permit or Ukrainian candidates under UK protection status
• Minimum 12 months experience as 2nd Cook on similar types of vessels
