Job Description:

A shipping company is seeking a 2nd Cook for an OSV DP2 vessel operating in the North Sea.
The position is offered on a short-term contract with fixed daily wages.
The vessel is engaged in offshore operations, and candidates must meet specific nationality and work permit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
 • Assisting the Chief Cook in daily meal preparation
 • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the galley
 • Food storage, stock control, and inventory management
 • Compliance with safety, hygiene, and company procedures
 • Supporting catering operations during offshore voyages

Requirements:

• Valid Ship’s Cook License
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Minimum 12 months actual onboard experience on similar OSV / DP vessels in the rank of 2nd Cook
• Proficiency in English communication
• Only EU Nationals holding a valid UK Work Permit or Ukrainian nationals under UK Holder of Protection status

• Salary: EUR 200 per day
