Job Description

Solpia Marine is recruiting experienced 2nd Cooks for its merchant fleet. The 2nd Cook will support the Chief Cook with daily meal preparation, galley operations, food preparation, and housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Cook with preparation of crew meals.
• Prepare ingredients and support daily galley operations.
• Maintain food hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining galley equipment.
• Follow company food safety and onboard procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as 2nd Cook / Assistant Cook.
• Previous merchant vessel experience.
• Valid food safety / hygiene certification as applicable.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book.
• Good English communication skills.
