A leading yacht recruitment company is currently seeking an experienced Sole Chef to join a Motor Yacht operating worldwide.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing exceptional meals for guests and crew, planning customized menus, managing galley operations, provisioning, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and culinary excellence.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced yacht chefs with previous Motor Yacht experience and a passion for luxury hospitality.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare high-quality meals for guests and crew
Design customized menus based on guest preferences
Manage food purchasing, inventories, and provisioning
Maintain exceptional galley hygiene standards
Control food costs and minimize waste
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
Cater for special dietary requirements
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully operational galley
Requirements
Valid STCW certification package
Previous Motor Yacht experience as Sole Chef
Professional culinary qualifications preferred
Valid passport and medical certificate
Excellent English communication skills
Strong culinary creativity and presentation skills
Excellent organization and time management
High standards of hygiene and professionalism
Physically and medically fit for sea service
