Job Description:
An experienced Party Chief is required for an offshore survey project in UK waters, operating within the 12-nautical-mile zone.
The position starts on 19 August 2026 with an initial 4-week contract, followed by a 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation. The successful candidate should have strong offshore survey experience, including total station operations, vessel and ROV calibration, USBL calibration and verification, EIVA survey systems, and jacket installation projects.
Due to the project location within the UK 12NM zone, UK or Irish nationality is required.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Lead and coordinate offshore survey activities and survey personnel.
Conduct and supervise total station surveys and related positioning operations.
Perform vessel, ROV, and USBL calibration and verification activities.
Operate and manage survey activities using the EIVA survey system.
Support survey operations during jacket installation projects.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Party Chief / Offshore Survey Party Chief.
Proficient in Total Stations.
Experience with vessel and ROV calibrations and verifications.
Experience with USBL calibration and verification.
Experience with the EIVA survey system.
Previous experience with jacket installation projects.
Valid offshore certificates and STCW certification as applicable.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
UK or Irish nationality – mandatory due to work within the UK 12NM zone.
Valid right to work in the UK.
Good English communication skills.
