Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Chief Cook to join a SCOV DP2 vessel operating in the North Sea. The contract duration is 8 weeks with an expected joining date of 10th May. The role involves managing galley operations onboard and ensuring high standards of food preparation and catering services for crew members under offshore working conditions. Wages are negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Preparing and supervising all meals onboard
• Managing galley operations and food safety compliance
• Planning menus and controlling provisions and stock
• Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards in the galley
• Supervising galley assistants and 2nd Cook

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Only EU Nationals holding valid UK Work Permit or Ukrainian nationals under UK protection status
• Minimum 12 months of experience as Chief Cook on similar vessel types (SCOV / DP2)
• Ship’s Cook License
• HUET with CA-EBS
