Job Description

Atlas NextWave is seeking an experienced Chief Cook to join a Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (TSHD) operating in the United Kingdom.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing onboard catering operations, preparing meals for the crew, maintaining food hygiene standards, and ensuring the galley operates safely and efficiently.

This is a long-term opportunity, with the possibility of remaining in the vessel rotation while the UK project continues.

Available Joining Dates

• 2 December – 16 December 2026
• 16 December 2026 – 13 January 2027

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a Chief Cook onboard a vessel
• Valid UK visa or legal right to work in the United Kingdom
• Valid certificates and documents required for the position
• Two most recent appraisals
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene, galley safety, and catering procedures
