Job Description
KJCM Maritime Corporation is recruiting a Chief Cook for a Supramax / Handy Bulk Carrier. Applicants must hold a valid US visa.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Prepare daily meals for the vessel’s crew.
- Plan menus and manage galley provisions and food supplies.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and galley cleanliness.
- Monitor food stocks and minimize waste.
- Ensure safe handling and storage of food and galley equipment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a vessel Chief Cook.
- Valid US visa.
- Relevant food hygiene and safety certificates, as applicable.
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication and valid seafarer’s documents.
Employment Details
- Salary: USD 2,100 per month
- Vessel: Bulk Carrier – Supramax / Handy
