Job Description:
Norbulk Pacific Maritime is seeking experienced Chief Cooks to join its Reefer Vessel fleet. The Chief Cook will be responsible for planning menus, preparing meals, managing galley operations, and maintaining food hygiene standards for the vessel's crew.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Prepare and serve nutritious meals for all crew members.
Plan menus and manage food inventories and provisions.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the galley.
Supervise galley assistants where applicable.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Previous experience as Chief Cook on Reefer or Merchant vessels
Knowledge of food safety and galley management
