Job Description:
Martide is recruiting experienced Chief Cooks to join a new Oil/Chemical Tanker. The Chief Cook will manage all galley operations, prepare meals for the crew, and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Previous European vessel experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Prepare and serve daily meals for the crew.
Plan menus and manage food inventories.
Supervise galley cleanliness and hygiene.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Manage provisions and minimize food waste.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Previous experience as Chief Cook on Oil/Chemical Tankers
European vessel experience preferred
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
