Job Description:
SeaCrest Maritime Management Inc. is seeking an experienced Chief Cook to join an Oil/Chemical Tanker trading worldwide. The position is open to Filipino seafarers from the Philippines only. Candidates must have completed at least one full contract on an international trading vessel. The Chief Cook will be responsible for meal preparation, galley management, food hygiene, and provision control onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Prepare daily meals and menus for officers and crew.
Maintain high standards of galley hygiene and food safety.
Manage food provisions, stock levels, and proper storage.
Ensure food is prepared and served according to onboard standards.
Maintain the galley and cooking equipment in clean and safe condition.
Requirements:
Filipino seafarers from the Philippines only
Minimum 1 completed full contract on an international trading vessel
Previous experience as Chief Cook
Oil/Chemical Tanker experience preferred
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Good command of English
Valid seafarer's documents
