Chief Cook for Oil/Chemical or Oil Product Tanker Vessels

Job Description

KJCM Maritime Corporation is seeking a qualified Chief Cook with European cuisine experience for an Oil/Chemical or Oil Product Tanker ahead of a new vessel takeover in December 2026.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Prepare nutritious and balanced meals for the crew, including European cuisine.
• Plan menus and manage food provisions and galley supplies.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safe food handling.
• Monitor food stocks and minimize waste.
• Ensure galley equipment is used and maintained safely.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Chief Cook onboard a vessel.
• European cuisine experience.
• Valid food hygiene and safety certificates, as applicable.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication and valid seafarer’s documents.

Employment Details

• Salary: USD 2,800 per month
• Joining: December 2026
