Chief Cook for Oil / Chemical Tanker Vessel

Job Description

KJCM Maritime Corporation is hiring an experienced Chief Cook to join an Oil / Chemical Tanker Vessel. The successful candidate should have proven experience preparing European cuisine and must be available for ASAP deployment.

The Chief Cook will be responsible for meal preparation, galley operations, food hygiene, and maintaining high catering standards onboard.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Prepare high-quality meals, including European cuisine, for the vessel’s crew.
• Plan daily menus and manage food preparation according to onboard requirements.
• Maintain high standards of galley hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Monitor food provisions and minimize waste.
• Follow company catering procedures and vessel safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous Chief Cook experience
• European Cuisine experience – Required
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid passport and seaman’s book
• Ability to mobilise ASAP
