Job Description

Jebsen PTC Maritime Incorporated is recruiting an experienced Chief Cook for an LPG Carrier. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals for the crew, managing galley operations, maintaining food hygiene standards, and ensuring efficient use of provisions onboard.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily meals in accordance with crew requirements.
• Plan menus and manage food provisions and galley supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the galley and messroom.
• Monitor food storage, stock rotation, and portion control.
• Follow onboard food safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Chief Cook or shipboard cook.
• Relevant culinary qualifications and food hygiene certification.
• Valid STCW certificates as applicable.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and seafarer's documents.
• Good English communication skills.
• LPG or other gas carrier experience is an advantage.
