Chief Cook for LPG Tanker Vessel

Job Description:

Wilhelmsen is recruiting 2 Chief Cooks for a takeover LNG Tanker vessel. The Chief Cook will be responsible for preparing meals for the crew, maintaining galley hygiene, managing food supplies, and ensuring that catering activities are carried out in accordance with onboard standards. Previous experience onboard LNG vessels is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Prepare nutritious and varied meals for the vessel's crew.
• Maintain high standards of galley cleanliness and food hygiene.
• Manage food provisions, storage, and stock levels.
• Follow onboard catering and safety procedures.
• Minimize food waste and maintain proper galley records.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Previous experience onboard LNG vessels is mandatory.
• Valid BTLGT Certificate of Proficiency (COP).
• Relevant experience as a Chief Cook on LNG vessels.
