Job Description

Jebsen PTC is recruiting a Chief Cook for an LPG Tanker Vessel. The Chief Cook will be responsible for the preparation of meals for the crew, maintaining galley hygiene, managing provisions, and ensuring compliance with vessel food safety and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Preparing daily meals for the vessel's crew.
• Managing food provisions and minimizing waste.
• Maintaining high standards of galley cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ensuring proper food storage and handling procedures.
• Supporting safe and efficient galley operations in accordance with company policy.

Requirements

• Relevant Chief Cook / shipboard cooking experience.
• Valid STCW certificates as applicable.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Food safety / hygiene certification as required.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer’s documents.
