Job Description:
Elburg is recruiting 2 Chief Cooks to join General Cargo vessels. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing daily meals, managing galley operations, and maintaining high standards of food hygiene and sanitation onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare daily meals and menus for the crew.
Manage food provisions and galley supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the galley.
Ensure proper food storage and preparation.
Follow onboard catering, health, and safety procedures.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Chief Cook
General Cargo vessel experience preferred
Valid Cook/Chief Cook certification as applicable
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good command of English
